Introduction
To predict
an event, it
is required to have accurate date, time and place
of birth. In case of inaccurate or uncertain birth times,
misreported or unavailable or forgotten birth dates and situations where a
birth time is hard to decide upon (related to objects, natural entities),
it is difficult to make correct predictions.
In situations like these, we can use
horary charts. These charts are generally drawn for the moment when
a question is asked and the chart then is
utilized for studying and analyzing the specific situation or event
that forms the basis of the question. A plethora of options
and several methods for casting and delineating horary charts exist in the
various flavors of astrology that are available.
Horary astrology
is the branch of astrology that deals with answering a
question by studying the astrological charts set for the exact
time and place of asking a question. In addition to
this, a number is used to involve the spirit of the querent.
This number determines the Ascendant position. After several
research studies, Sri K.S. KrishnaMurtiji has found more
fruitful results by using a number between 1 and 249, each
number representing the sub division of the zodiac. More
recent research studies added a new sub division (subsub) and
the number range 1-2193 is also used. The casting and analysis
of the chart using date, time, place and the number given by
the querent is called KP Horary Astrology.
KP Horary
astrology differs from the well known natal astrology
(using date, time and place of birth), which gives
insight on the entire life of a person. Whereas, from a horary
astrology chart, one can find the answer only to that specific
question, that generated it.
The following
pages explain different basic concepts and how to choose them
to get best results.
The
information in this site is from the lessons learned from my
teachers Sri. Narasimha Rao V Amuru, Sri.T.Seshagiri Rao
and several clarifications from Sri. Kanak Bosmia and Sri Tin
